The Dairy Production Plant in Bydgoszcz has been part of Spółdzielnia Mleczarska Mlekpol in Grajewo since 1 January 2005. SM Mlekpol in Grajewo joined with Okręgowa Spółdzielnia Mleczarska Osowa (District Dairy Cooperative Osowa).
The Dairy Production Plant in Bydgoszcz of SM Mlekpol is famous for producing the highest quality microfiltered milk (ESL) known as Łaciate Świeże. In 2017 Polski Instytut Badań Jakości (the Polish Institute of Quality Research) in cooperation with Szkoła Główna Gospodarstwa Wiejskiego awarded Najwyższa Smakowitość (Supreme Tastefulness) to the milk from Bydgoszcz. The Jury checked which of the ESL milk on the market had the best taste and Łaciate Świeże milk 3,2%, fat offered by SM Mlekpol won the title.
Bydgoszcz dairy products are made of milk from cows grazed on the cleanest meadows of Kuyavia, Pomerania, Warmia and Mazuria. Natural milk producers, cows, are fed with non-GMO products. The plant processes an average of 185 million litres of raw material per year.
Since 2016 the dairy plant in Bydgoszcz has also been producing – as part of the Łaciate brand – lactose-free yoghurt drinks in 3 flavours. Blackberry-raspberry, strawberry-black currant and pineapple-coconut flavoured yoghurt drinks are poured in handy 250 ml bottles that work great for travel, trips, picnics or at work or school.

The Dairy Production Plant in Gorzów has been part of Spółdzielnia Mleczarska Mlekpol in Grajewo since September 2008. SM Mlekpol in Grajewo joined with Rolnicza Spółdzielnia Rolmlecz (Agricultural Cooperative Rolmlecz), whose component was the plant in Gorzów.

The most important investments include: installation of a single-phase CIP station for the raw milk zone, modernization of the raw milk line, assembly of crystallizers for crystallization of lactose in whey, change of the vapor condenser from direct to indirect installation, assembly of a cooling tower for vapor condensation. Over the past three years, Gorzów has significantly modernised its powder plant. The capacity of the entire production line has been raised by approx. 30%, up to 130,000 litres of milk and 90,000 litres of whey concentrate per day.
