Pane Chen Yibing, a well-known gymnast, promotes milk from Grajewo. In Beijing, SM Mlekpol has signed a contract with a Chinese athlete.

The ceremony was attended by the representatives of Spółdzielnia Mleczarska Mlekpol in Grajewo: Małgorzata Cebelińska, manager of Foreign Trade Department and Lech Karendys, director of Trade Department.

”In connection with the large-scale distribution of SM MLEKPOL’s Łaciate milk in the e-commerce channel, together with one of our Chinese business partners, Guangzhou JAVO, we have decided to cooperate with a sports star who will become the face of the project and will be a supporter of marketing activities on the local market, especially in social media. Łaciate milk with Chinese inscriptions appeared on JD.com in September 2017. Chen Yibing will speak up for Łaciate milk for a year, until the end of October. We do not eliminate the option of extending this cooperation,” says Małgorzata Cebelińska.

The ceremony, on December 13, was attended by the representatives of the Łaciate brand distributor on Chinese e-commerce platforms, Guangzhou JAVO, and the representatives of JD.com, the largest Chinese e-commerce platform with food products. The meeting was also honoured by the presence of Polish diplomats: Artur Gradziuk, Head of the Economic Department of the Polish Embassy in Beijing, Artur Siejka, Head of the Trade and Investment Promotion Section of the Polish Embassy in Beijing and Magdalena Gorzycka, First Secretary in the Department of Agriculture of the Polish Embassy in Beijing.

The Chinese distribution includes 5 assortments of Łaciate milk tailored for Chinese customers – the packaging labelling is additionally written in Chinese. The offered selection consists of: Łaciate milk 3,2% fat – 1l, Łaciate milk 2% fat – 1l, Łaciate milk 0% fat – 1l, Łaciate milk 3,2% fat – 500ml as well as Łaciate milk 3,5% fat – 200ml. MLEKPOL also sells its products through VIP and Kaola, top cross-border retail e-commerce platforms in China.

The value of Mlekpol products exported to China in 2017 has doubled compared to the previous year.
