From January 1st 2023 Mlekpol Dairy Cooperative will be managed by the Board composed of four Members. There is also a change in the position of the President of the Board. —After over 40 years my role in Mlekpol Dairy Cooperative is coming to an end. I know, however, that the Cooperative will be in good hands – says Edmund Borawski, the current CEO. New Members of the Board are the experts in the dairy industry, who have been connected with Mlekpol for years.

Composition of the new Board was approved by voting during the last meeting of the Supervisory Board on 22 November 2022. The decision to appoint a new Board is a natural generational change for which the Cooperative was preparing for several months. The new CEO is going to take up his position at the beginning of January 2023.

Forty years have passed this year since I started working in Mlekpol Dairy Cooperative. That’s a big part of my life, not only professional, and I am very proud that I have been able to contribute to the development of the Cooperative. That is the effect of the joint work and achievement of all milk producers, employees, management staff, Supervisory Board and Executive Board. I would like to sincerely thank all of them for all those years. All key decisions have always been made together and in harmony – we have been solving the problems and we are happy about our accomplishments. I am glad that we are going to have a well-deserved rest at a time, when the Cooperative is constantly developing. We give the reins to the people, who know the Cooperative very well and who have great knowledge and lots of ideas. I know that we are putting Mlekpol in the right hands – says Edmund Borawski.

The duties of the CEO will be taken over by Tadeusz Mroczkowski, current Director of the Dairy Plant in Grajewo – Such a great organization needs a strong leader, who will be implementing the vision of the development and at the same time will be open to the voice of the members of the Cooperative and employees, because they are the biggest strength of Mlekpol. I hope that I will be able to continue the success created by the current Board chaired by CEO Edmund Borawski. I would like to thank him on behalf of all employees and members of the Cooperative for these 4 fruitful decades – says Tadeusz Mroczkowski.

The new Executive Board will be also composed of Małgorzata Cebelińska, current Sales Director (from December 1st 2022), Paweł Pasternak, current Financial Director (from January 1st 2023) and Zbigniew Groszyk, who has been holding the position of the Vice President of Production since 2021.
