Spółdzielnia Mleczarska from Grajewo has visited Food & Hotel Asia Fair in Singapore, a mega tradeshow synonymous with the food and hospitality industry in Asia and beyond.

”This is one of the most important trade fair events of the food industry in Southeast Asia, held every two years. This year, it gathered almost 82 thousand visitors from 105 countries,” informs Małgorzata Cebelińska, director of Trade Department at SM MLEKPOL in Grajewo.

The MLEKPOL’s stand was supported by a sales team of a long-time Indonesian partner. The guests were delighted with delicious dairy products from Podlasie, for example Łaciate UHT milk, the variety of cream cheese for spreading and Mlekpol ripened cheese.

“It was a very interesting experience and an additional value to the mutual cooperation. Our presence in Singapore was an excellent opportunity to meet new and existing Mlekpol’s business partners,” adds Małgorzata Cebelińska, director of Trade Department.

MLEKPOL products were also present at the fair stand of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, where the chefs from Poland used them to prepare traditional delicacies.

Food&Hotel Asia Fair is of recognised international standing. The event is frequently visited not only by businesspeople but also by politicians. This year they were, among others: Singapore’s Secretary of State – Dr Koh Poh Koon, Prime Minister of Vietnam – H. E. Nguyun Xuan Phúc, Deputy Prime Minister of New Zealand – Rt Hon Winston Peters, and a Polish delegation under the chairmanship of Jacek Bogucki, Secretary of State, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Spółdzielnia Mleczarska MLEKPOL will soon take part in other important food industry trade fairs in Asia. On 16-18 May, the MLEKPOL’s representatives will be present at SIAL China in Shanghai.
