Vanilla hotcakes for second breakfast

Ingredients
  • 2 cups ROLMLECZ vanilla or vanilla flavoured homogenized cheese (150 g)
  • 1 egg
  • 2 heaped tablespoons wheat flour
  • ½ a teaspoon baking powder
  • Łaciate Junior milk or Łaciate milk 3,2% fat, optionally
  • Frying oil
  • Caster sugar for sprinkling
  • Seasonal fruit/ jam/ confiture

Combine ROLMLECZ cheese with the egg, flour and baking powder. Mix very thoroughly. If the batter is too thick, add a small amount of Łaciate Junior milk or Łaciate milk 3,2% fat. Perfect batter for vanilla hotcakes should have the thick cream consistency.

Heat a bit of oil in a frying pan. Using a small ladle pour a small amount of batter into the hot oil – pancakes should be the size of a saucer. Fry on both sides until golden. Slide the fried hotcakes from the pan and lay them on a plate padded with kitchen towel. Drain the hotcakes from excess fat. Serve hot or cold. Decorate with fresh seasonal fruit/ jam/ confiture and a dash of caster sugar sprinkled over. Being healthy and nutritious, these vanilla hotcakes will also work great as a second breakfast idea.
